Cancer treatment is one of the priorities of the Melal Economic Development Group in the field of health, which is important as a concrete measure in the field of social responsibilities and in line with covering and providing services to cancer patients.
Therefore, this company has established the Imam Ali (AS) Comprehensive Cancer Center, Type 2, within the framework of a public-private partnership with Alborz University of Medical Sciences. This center, with an infrastructure of approximately 4800 square meters on 6 floors, has two chemotherapy departments and a radiotherapy department consisting of CT simulators, brachytherapy, accelerators, and Gamma Knife as an advanced device in the treatment of brain and vascular tumors. This device can treat cancerous tumors using gamma rays without the need for surgery and excision. According to the Public Relations Report of the National Economic Development Group, on Monday, December 26, 1402, this device was transferred by the National Economic Development Group to the Imam Ali (AS) Comprehensive Cancer Center in Karaj, which will be put into operation after the installation and commissioning stages. The use of this device will be a huge change in the health sector of Alborz province and the country.
