The National Economic Development Group has begun construction and commissioning of the Imam Ali (AS) Comprehensive Cancer Center within the framework of a public-private partnership with the Alborz University of Medical Sciences. This center, with an infrastructure of approximately 4,800 square meters on 6 floors, has two chemotherapy departments and a radiotherapy department consisting of CT simulators, brachytherapy, accelerators, and Gamma Knife, an advanced device for treating brain and vascular tumors. This device can treat cancerous tumors using gamma rays without the need for surgery or excision. The launch of this center will be a major development in the health sector of Alborz Province and the country. According to the CEO of Shafa Toos Company, this center will be operational from early October.

Purchase of land for the construction of a 96-bed hospital in Alborz Province
With the aim of improving the level of health and medical services in Alborz Province, the Melal Economic Development Group is seeking to construct and launch a 96-bed hospital using modern and advanced facilities in an area of ​​32,000 square meters on 11 floors in this province.
